A little help with links, audio files, and the occasional error.
Does downloading cost anything?
No. The converter is free to use, and downloading does not require an account or subscription. The coffee button is an optional way to support the site.
What kind of link should I use?
Paste a link to one YouTube video. Standard watch URLs, shortened youtu.be links, Shorts, and YouTube Music video links are recognized. A recognized address does not guarantee that the video can be processed.
Is this an MP3 or MP4 downloader?
This site prepares MP3 audio only. The downloaded file does not contain the video picture, subtitles, or slides.
Can I choose the audio bitrate?
There is no quality selector. The resulting audio depends on the source recording and conversion service; converting a poor recording cannot restore missing sound detail.
Will it work in my phone’s browser?
Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. Copy a video link from YouTube’s Share menu and return to the converter. If Paste is unavailable, touch and hold the input to use your device’s paste command.
Where should I look for the saved audio?
Open your browser’s downloads list or your device’s Downloads folder. Your browser settings control the save location. Wait for the transfer to finish before opening or moving the file.
Why does a video fail to convert?
The source may be unavailable, restricted, or unsupported by the conversion service. Check that the video opens on YouTube, then try again later. If the error continues, send its exact wording and the public video URL through our contact page.
My download link expired. What now?
Return to the YouTube to MP3 converter and prepare the video again. Result links are temporary; the complete MP3 you already saved remains on your device.
Can I submit a whole playlist?
Use one video at a time. Once your file is ready, select Convert another to start with a different link.
Why is the file name slightly different?
The name uses the video title with a filename prefix. Repeated spaces and unsupported filename characters may be cleaned up. You can rename the saved MP3 in your file manager.
